Multimedia 20/30

Overview

Multimedia 20/30 is a yearlong, project-based curriculum that develops career and communication skills in the four main digital design and production areas - print production and graphic design, web-authoring, animation, and video production.

Project-based work allows for an integrated and practical approach to learning and applying common digital tools like PhotoShop, Flash, Dream Weaver, Premier, etc. It also allows for assessment and evaluation in a wider variety of CTS modules and credits related to Information Processing and Communication Technology.

Multimedia 20/30 develops seven key skill areas:

  • Project management and collaboration
  • Design
  • Research and communication
  • Print production
  • Web-authoring

These key skills will be developed in a spiral—each project will add more challenging skills to foundation skills. School related projects will be the focus.
