Calgary Academy

Career Development is a long term process. At Calgary Academy, we engage the students in a three year career process. The CALM instructor who teaches them in Grade 10 is also the Career Practitioner who works with the students individually for the next two years.

We provide a variety of career exploration activities and Career Interest Inventories over the three years; this tends to be more accurate than a one time "snapshot" assessment. Career development is a collaborative process, and parents are invited to join the individual meetings with the student.
